We have the honor of a Mommy and Daddy Spotted Eagle Owl producing two beautiful owl chicks on the Spotswood farm!
One of three chicks has left the nest! Plumage has morphed from white to grey in less than a week. Isn’t nature amazing?! Daddy Owl keeping both eyes on the independent baby. Will keep you posted and updated.
Owl Update! Two lazy chicks still in the nest, the third on the ground – we call him William Wallace. Mom and Dad still at their posts feeding chicks and fending-off anything or anyone in close proximity. Watch this space …
